The Meaning of Home

My home is a very important place to me. Home means that I am safe and I am safe because it keeps me warm and cool. I am safe from people that are mean. I have a bed to sleep on every day and night. Every time I think about the homeless people I feel sad because they don't get to sleep on a bed. I can’t imagine how they feel outside in the cold. I am thankful that I have a roof over my head and that my family is safe. I am happy that I have a dog that keeps me company, too. At home I also have toys to play with, and I can play with my friends or my sister. Another fun thing is that I have a Nintendo Switch and a PS5 to play on. One of the most important things is that people love me and care about me in my home. I am joyful because when my mum or my dad gives me a hug I feel loved by them. I also feel loved when my parents give me hugs and hang out with me.
