Home is More Than Four Walls

Home is more than four walls,it's a place to be you. It's more than some structure, it's a place where it's ok to feel blue. It's where memories are shared, and new ones grow. I don't worry about how pretty our house is,I care about the true beauty that glows. Sometimes we get into bad arguments and fights but we always forgive and forget, We give big hugs and stick together like magnets. My home is where I sleep and rest, then wake up energized and ready. I get up from my comfy bed, and hug my fluffy teddy. I walk down the stairs and I'm greeted by a mouth- watering aroma, PANCAKES! I jump onto the chair and start chomping down the food while my sister eats cornflakes. My home is where I play and enjoy, and have lots of fun. My dad shouts “TAG YOUR IT!” while we all quickly run. I run all the way upstairs and see the tv on, The vibrations from our traditional music makes me dance like a beautiful swan. The music ends, and I smell something appetizing. My mom is baking banana bread, I know she isn't lying! My home is where I can draw and express myself. I grab my sketchbook and start thinking of new ideas and then I get some paper from the shelf. Making comics are what gives me a creative mind, and transforms me. Comics are one of the things that fill me with glee. My home is where I get instructions and help whenever I need it, And I guess my work can be a little adequate… But my family gives me encouragement, And if I get anything wrong, I acknowledge it. You can buy a house, but you can't buy a home. Sometimes you can feel sad and alone. A home isn't always perfect, but it's enough, A home is filled with happiness and love! Once you have a home, there's nowhere you'd rather be. A home is where new things bloom, don't you see? A home is more than four walls, its where you're surrounded by care, It's more than just some structure, it's where love lingers in the air. Thank you habitat for humanity for making houses for those in need. Those houses grow into homes, it is where we plant the seed.
