A Home's Love Never Ends
A home is not a house,
It could be the home of a spouse 👩🏼🤝👨🏻.
A home is not a roof and some walls,
Because that could be an assembly hall.
A home is the people who live in it,
They will at least love it a bit.
If they so madly fight,
They hopefully will become bright.
A house has people,
A home has loving family and friends.
Your room has four walls that keep you safe,
But a home’s love never ends.
A wall has bricks that are a barrier,
But you know what's scarier?
That some people have nothing at all.
Just a hard rugged ground to sleep on at night.
When you are with your special people,
The joy in them stands out.
Please don’t be unpleasantly evil,
To the people who love you throughout.
When I settle down for a cold winter’s nap,
I think about all the people who could have gotten zapped,
When the sacrificed their lives for us to be free,
So that we could have glee.
When you go to bed,
Think about what I said.
That people died for us to survive,
And now, we will thrive,
Because together we are in unity.
Now, as this comes to an end
Please say a lovely goodbye,
To the people who try,
To love and care for you.
For they are the people who should matter most.
