My Home

A house has walls, a roof and floors but my home has love, safety and happiness. When I think of home I think of my family sitting on the couch waiting for me to get home and talking to me about school. When I am home I feel loved, safe, warm and happy. When I imagine home I see my family and my dogs playing in the living room. When I think of home I think of the smell of food being made in the kitchen ,spread around the house. When I’m home I can hear my dogs barking when someone’s visiting and my sister talking about the car she's going to buy when she gets her full driver's licence. When I hear somebody say home I think about how I have my own room. I think of my living room and when everyone hangs out there spending time together. I think how lucky I am to have food to eat. I think of how I have a loving family that is always there for me. That’s what I think of my home!
