The Meaning of Home

I used to think home was just a place, but I now I know the real meaning of home. So here's my definition: Home, cozy, safe, kind, and calm these are just a few of the words that describe my home. Home in my opinion should be an inclusive and safe space to share your thoughts and feelings. The people that are in your home you should recognize you should feel safe and calm with them in your environment. Your home is like a habitat, it has things you need to survive. Like you need to be loved, you need some privacy and you need to feel safe. Sure, school and stuff is safe but sometimes you need a loved one or some privacy to just cry. Home is also a place where you can be silly, you can make memories cause home is where the heart is. Some people call it a house but I think it should be a home. Home means a bonding place, a safe inclusive place where everybody has a voice, everybody listens but everybody can talk too. Next part comfort your home is comfy whether you are a couch potato or love to cozy up with a good book in bed, home is a comfortable place. Sure home can sometimes be annoying if you have siblings but sometimes siblings can come in handy when you wanna talk to someone other than your parents. All I am trying to say, is home is where is the heart is, cause home is comfortable, safe and really just plain awesome!🖤
