Meaning of Home
The entryway is where feelings are let,
One of the places that I will not forget.
When one first lay step in this place,
No regrets, just only grace.
The living room like the city town so lively,
Conversations, shared laughter are so timely.
A space with warmth, comfort, and joy,
The special bonds between, I will always enjoy.
The kitchen, scaping with comfort and care,
Scented with pastries varies within the air.
The laughter while we feast at the table,
Laughing more than anyone is able.
My bedroom, a cozy room where emotions lay,
No limit to any for they all will stay.
A perfect space where dreamland awaits,
A perfect place where no one hates.
The bathroom, where thoughts unfold,
The most embarrassing stories are retold.
A place to cleanse our body, mind, and soul,
A place where thoughts lash out and we can’t control.
The basement is where memories are held,
The joy, the fun, the laughter, being withheld.
Missing, lost, or forgotten junk around,
But stashed far away where it may not be found.
The garden, an outdoor space full of peace,
A place for relaxation and where your joy will release.
Mother Nature there it will appear,
Calling out your name you hear.
But home is truly a place to have a sense of belonging,
A safe space where no one can be in the wronging.
A beautiful place where you can watch the sky gloam,
And I know everybody deserves a home.
