The Meaning of Home

My home is a place where comfort, safety, warmth and love come from. My home is where I see my parents, my pets, my aunts and uncles, and my grandparents. My home is where I hear people cooking, the water running, and the television playing. My home is a place where I smell meals being made, grass being mowed, and coffee brewing. My home is a place where friends and family come over for dinner, parties, and holidays. My home is a place where we celebrate, Halloween, Christmas, Lunar New Year, New Year, Thanksgiving, and many more celebrations My home is a place that makes me feel happy, safe, warm, relaxed, and comfortable. My home is a place where I can laugh and cry, read in a corner or be in the center surrounded by everyone. My home is a place where I can sleep, recharge, refuel, so that I have all the energy to take on life. That is the meaning of home to me.
