There's no place like home

A home is a place where you're safe and sound. And you feel comfortable all year round. Lots of people should own a house But instead they sleep on the cold hard ground. A house has everything I need. It is a place that plants a seed And it becomes part of me. Home is a place where snacks are always around. And after an hour I gain a pound. Home is a place where my family keeps me company which ensures I don't feel sad ,mad or lonely. My home is a place where I could seek shelter From the rain and the cold, especially in the winter. My home is so comfortable, it always makes my day It is such a pity that many people do not live this way. I am so happy that I have a roof over my head And when I’m tired I could just go to bed. When I go to bed I have a place to sleep And I could think of good stuff and count some sheep. In my home I have a bunch of games and toys. Some kids don't have all that like little girls and boys. I am so grateful that I have a place to stay Because some people don't have enough money to pay the rent And they and their family has to sleep in a tent. Even if I was on a cool and exotic island, I would still count down the days till I,m back home, with peace and quiet. Hotels are for leaving Homes are for staying.
