Where I'm From

Where I’m From By: Maisie I am from opening presents and waiting until 8:00 to wake up to going to my aunty and grandma’s house at Christmas; from collecting chocolate eggs down the stairs at Easter to getting colourful gift baskets filled with candy. I am from playing in the sandbox on a hot summer day to going on the trampoline and doing flips; from playing with toys in the basement to watching my tablet on the cozy couch. I am from dad saying “I’m just teasing you” all the time to getting called “Maze”; from playing with my doll house and Sardines with my neighbors to playing “Animal Crossing” on the Nintendo. I am home!
