What Home Means To Me

To me home is not a house, it’s a place where you're happy and with family or friends. Home is not a roof with four walls, it’s where laughter and smiles come from and where love and hugs are shared. If there was no home where would you feel safe? It doesn’t even have to be your house, home could be anywhere you like. To me home smells like freshly baked cookies or muffins, like a happy, wet dog, or like a yummy dinner on the table. Home sounds like me and my brother yelling at each other, like Taco(my dog)barking to go outside, or like everybody chit chattering. Home looks like the whole family snuggling, like me or my mom baking, or like a very messy house, Home feels like a safe place, like a crazy place, or like a cozy place. Home tastes like an amazing dinner, like my families cooking, and if I could lick the floor, it would probably taste like dog fur. Home is where Taco plays with her friend, Lula, where we give her treats to do tricks, or where me and my brother wrestle each other. Where we learn important lessons, and share funny stories, or where we get nice surprises. Home is where you feel safe.
