A Home And A House
A house is still,
Stuck in one place.
But a home can be anywhere,
As long as there's love.
A house can be bought,
From a big, normal business,,
With its walls and a roof,
And normal, heated, air.
But a home is true,
To your family and you.
It is made of love,
Never to be lost.
A house has a price,
With numbers on their side.
But a home is priceless,
With laughter and joy flowing within.
A house is bland,
With jets of debts,
Destroying your fun,
With addiction and bets.
But a home can be anywhere.
Even a trash can.
But as long as it gives you love,
It's a beauty, nevertheless.
A house had four corners,
With a roof topping it off.
But a home has something else,
Laughter, joy, and love.
A house can shield you
Protecting you from disasters,
But it is breakable and mistakeable
Just for another chance.
Though brand, and new,
A house will never be good as a home.
Though it may seem the other way around,
A home is better, without a chance.
