The Meaning of Home

Yesterday, I felt very happy because a good friend from the same school came to my house. Before I went to school today, my mother made me a hamburger, which tasted great . Therefore, I went to school happily. On the way to school, the friend who came to my house yesterday was just leaving his house to walk to school. His house is very close to mine, just one block away. It only takes 5 minutes to walk there. So, we got to walk to school together. His name is Toby and he is in grade 5 at Park West. We get to speak to each other in Mandarin when we walk together. We met each other at the Canada Game Centre. We were both there during a free swim session. I went there to swim for fun and I met him while swimming. After that experience , we started to talk at school. Then he and I started to play Peace Elite together online. We added each other to our accounts. Then we also added each other to our contacts in WeChat (Chinese Facebook). Then, our moms added each other to their contacts. Now, we can make play dates and arrangements to hang out together.
