There's no place like home - poem

There's no place like home Some live in a house with windows and doors, Some live outside and have no floors. Some live in homes as big as you can see, Some live with their parents just like me. No matter where you live or where you may roam, One thing's for sure there's no place like home. The walls echo with sound and laughter, Where people grow old and live happily ever after. Homes are built on strong foundations, They stand in every nation. Home is my family’s hub, My home is filled with so much love. My home is my safe place cozy and warm, It is where I take shelter from a storm. My home is filled with yummy food, It puts everyone in a good mood. Home is where the best memories are made, Family bonds that won't ever fade. Home is where I want to be at the end of the day, Hanging with my friends getting ready to play. Home is the base and my favorite place, A place where we meet face to face. As we live and learn, We always return. There's no place like home. By Gavin
