My Meaning of Home

A house has four walls but a home is where memories are made. A house is a building but a home is where your bad thoughts fade. A house is what holds lives but a home is where kindness thrives. A house is a stack of stones and a door but a home means a little bit more. A house holds a fireplace but a home lets you feel warm inside. A house has a chimney and a roof but a home lets you feel safe telling the truth. A house is a concealed space but a home allows you to feel in place. To get in a house you need a key but a home is where you can truly feel free. A house’s backyard has a playground and swings but a home’s backyard is more fun than anything. A house’s dining room is a place for eating but in a home’s dining room sharing meals has meaning. A house is where you can sleep and live but a home is where kindness is given.
