What Home Means To Me

I feel like I'm at home when my mom cooks soup. When I walk into a house it feels like I don't belong there and when I walk into my home it feels like it is a place to make your memories. A house feels cold and big, but a home is full of happiness and small. A house smells like someone else's scent while a home smells like your family and your scent. A house looks like four walls and a roof when a home looks like a building full of memories. A house sounds like other people talking while a home sounds like my family having fun and laughing. A home is a privilege to have because lots of people don't have homes. A house can be so nice and beautiful but your house is full of family and gratitude. Houses and homes are really different from each other even though they look like they are the same thing but houses are someone else's land and homes are yours. Every day you wake up please think, I'm glad to have a home and I'm glad to not be outside in the cold freezing weather. So if you have a home, be really grateful for it because some people don't have homes and they freeze in cold weather. So please be grateful for what you have.
