Home Against House Who Will Win?

Home Against House Who Will Win? By Sam Gillis Hello, and welcome to my essay about The Meaning of Home. In this paper we will see who will win, Home or House? Who knows! Only time will tell (and this paper). A home isn’t just a four walled building, it's a place where you can relax and be safe, but also have a person to rely on. Let’s jump in! To me home is a place where you can relax without worries. In my home we recently got a new comfy couch, so I have a nice spot to get my relaxing done. A good way to relax is to lay down on a couch and with a good book. Unless you don’t like reading you could just lay there motionless (or you could grab a Nintendo Switch). However you choose to relax, a real home has somewhere to do that. Most houses have good security systems, but some houses are not the safest. To me, safety means having people that know what they're doing. It’s too bad that that doesn't go for every home. A real home has someone you can always rely on. A home isn’t just a four walled building, it's a place where you can relax and be safe, but also have a person to rely on. A house is a building that shelters you. What makes a house a home is the people inside that make you feel safe and loved. It isn’t about how it looks, it’s about who lives in it. At my Grandma’s house she has a poem that hangs by her front door. I don’t know who wrote it but it says: “A house is built of walls and beams. A home is built of love and dreams.” PS. Home wins.
