A House is not a Home

A house is just a place. But a home is so much more. A house has four walls and a roof. But a home has endless possibilities. A house is a place filled with empty space. A home is not a place or thing, it's something you feel. A house just shelters people from the elements, but a home is safe like a school. A house has a wooden chair, but a home has a warm comfy bed. A house is as lonely as an empty playground after school, but a home is filled with laughter from your family. A house can be big but feel small but a home always feels comforting. A house has different rooms but a home has my favourite room of all, my bedroom. My bedroom is a sanctuary where I can get away from my sisters. It is a place I can call my own where I can relax and be myself. A house is bland and boring but a home is filled with personality. In the end, any house can become a home, you just need the right people and a lot of love. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building houses so people can make it their home.
