Home a Place All Should Know

Home a Place All Should Know Claire Smith’s poem on the meaning of home Home is a place more should know not all can go. Some who know a home is a place that they want to know but some who have a house can't remember the sight and smell of the brightly colored couches and mom’s new blue blouses . Though a house is a place with four walls and a roof with a heart shriveled up and cold but a house has a light deeper within with a heart so much stronger than gold. And the people within really know that their home is where they go when they’re sad, mad. A home is a place that is comforting and caring but most important it is always sharing. No matter if you're big or small, short or tall, a home is a place that will take you into its caring wings and help you fly like a mother bird on a cold dark night. Home is a place with love and kindness and smiles full and bright and it shimmers and shines in in a glistening night. Though a home may not be perfect like the people inside a home will grow as their hearts are strong with their big full grins so smile with your home as you may know. But a house is without, so lo,share with a house that may be venturing without. Home is a place where memories are made that is NOT worth money or fame.
