Don't Call A Home A House

Houses and homes, are they the same? The only similarity is the name. A house is built with stone and brick, Its walls are strong, its roof is thick. A home is more than doors and wood, It's where you laugh, where you feel good. A house may keep the storm outside, But a home will warm you up from the inside. In a house you will live from day to day, In a home, you grow, learn, and play. A house can be big, a fancy sight, But a home is where you feel just right. A house is what the world can see, But a home is where you’re truly free. A house can stand for years or fall, But a home is priceless, standing tall. A house may give you a roof and space, But a home gives you a loving place. Thank you to Habitat for Humanity, for all you do, Building homes and hope, and making dreams come true.
