Home

Have you ever wondered what makes a home. Well, its family and friends love and laughter and all the memories. Like when you were young, and your brother fell down, you laughed the day away. Like when you grew bigger you and your sister got the bin of Lego’s. You waited and waited to build a tower, but you spilled the Lego on the ground. In a home you will laugh or giggle or snicker if you will. In a home there is peace and quiet and freedom to roam around. In a home you can speak your own language and do all your cultural traditions. In a home you have the freedom to do whatever makes you, you. In a home you have special toys and pictures that replay your childhood memories. In a home there are challenges to face, but you don't have to face them alone. You might have to move to a new home and change schools and friends. Thats okay because I know you will make new friends and memories along the way. In a home you can listen to whatever music that makes you joyful. In a home you can read any books in your own room (or with a sibling) with no one watching. In a home there is unstoppable love for family and friends. That is what makes a home. Thank you habitat for humanity for building homes for building homes for other families to enjoy.
