Home To You
Home is different for everyone. It could be a feeling of warmth and safety or the thought of your mother’s warm embrace. It could be thinking of your father’s proud smile or your two beautiful sister's laughter.
Home does not become home overnight. It becomes home because of all the memories you have shared there. Sometimes home is not where you're from. When I think of home I think of not just the place I sleep, but my grandpa’s house.
Every time I went to his house we would read a funny book and wash all of his toy cars which took hours. Whenever my parents were working and my sisters were at soccer I would get to stay over. Then in the morning grandma would cook a giant breakfast with waffles, pancakes and fresh fruit.
Whatever it is. Home is where you feel most comfortable. For me when I think of home I think of my large family, my cozy house and all the memories I have shared there. This may not be home for you but it is for me. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for giving homes to people in need.
