What Home Means to Me

This is what home means to me. I like my home because of my bed. Home is where I can sleep. Home is where my needs are met like clothing, food, shelter, and water. I am grateful for them all, but my sister is not. She says everything in her closet is ugly; it is not. The food my mom makes is really really delicious! My sister is sometimes nice to me like 50% of the time but then there is the other 50% that is a different story. I also like that I feel safe in my home. There is another feeling at my home that my sister will attack me at any moment. I do always have to be aware of my surroundings which is not fun. Despite this, I still feel safe at home. There are also some more reasons why I feel safe at home, like how I have a lock on my door or how I put my dresser in front of my door so Nev can't get in. I love my home because of the little things from the hole in my door to my creepy basement because that is what makes home home. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building houses that another family can call home. That is what home means to me.
