What Home Means to Me

My home is like my heart sometimes and it's very important to me and my family and it's a safe place for my family and pets. But a house is something different a parent or a friend would say if you're going to a friends house and you wouldn't say your friends home you would say your friends house because a home is where you live. There are a lot of things that make your home feel warm and welcoming like pictures, memories, heirlooms and even just a welcome mat is good enough or even a sign that says home sweet home or something like that. And I think love makes people feel warm and welcome too. You should be in a safe place but some people are not. Some people live on the streets and sleep on benches. People can be homeless for any reason and even people that have homes still might not be safe even if your home seems safe like you might be able to not access some parts of your house if you have stairs and you use a wheelchair. And some things that people add to their houses are ramps for if they have a wheelchair or if they have a broken arm and they can’t open their door they need help with a special device like an automatic door. And that's why and what home means to me and it has a special part in my heart and it will be there forever and I'm glad it’s safe and warm and welcome.
