The Real Meaning of Home

A home is not the building, but the memories and people that live in it. Home is the starting place of love, hope and dreams. A home is something so special; it’s indescribable. It doesn’t matter if you live in a cottage or a mansion, what matters is if you feel safe, and happy. It’s also where you should feel acknowledged and known! It’s a place where I feel comfortable being myself and I can relax without having the fear of judgement. It’s not about the structure or the place or the house, but it’s about the feelings and important things like being with the people you love and the great experiences and memories! In my home my family and I can build memories and make new ones. Home might just be a place, but a place where I’m loved and warm, and a place I know I belong! Everyone might have different opinions, but in my heart home is a place where I'm accepted, wanted and loved, and surrounded by the people I love. There might be other words, but Home is the best for me. :) There might be other humans, but family and friends are all I need. There might be other buildings, but there is no place like home. A happy home is filled with love, laughter, and a bit of chaos, but that’s all that makes it the best for me! Let these heartfelt words remind you, why home will always be where your heart is.
