The difference between a house and a home

A place where I can stay and play everyday is a home. I feel loved every time I walk in my home. Home is a place where I feel grateful. Some people don’t have that home like me. Some people have a house. Other children like me might not feel loved or cared when they walk through the door, they might not even know they have a home. Other kids like me around the world feel more safer out in the big world than in their house. For me I am touched by my home every second I am in it. My home is my safe area when I sense madness, sadness, stress and other emotions that lock me from being myself. Another place where I sense home is on the court dribbling the ball. Where I get to express myself and share my gift of talent. People around the world might not feel that something I feel. They might be scared to share their gifts of talent at their house. Everytime I make a basket I feel touched. Everytime I play with my team I feel safe, it’s like we are a family. I am grateful for my home that has running water, clothes everyday, and food to eat. In my home I don’t feel scared or feel unprotected. Dear God I pray for all of the people that don’t have a home to be safe and hopefully get one soon. I beg you to heal others who are hurt or have a disease. I pray to all of the kids who are abused and neglected. Please help everyone in the world to have a home and not a house.
