Home is a place where I can rest, A place to try my best. Full of colour and love Somewhere where we are all beloved. Our dreams may come true, But we all started with no clue. Place where we sometimes fight, We apologize to make it right. Tears out of happiness, Could also be sadness. Nightmares that scare us in the night, Wake up being blessed with the daylight. The songs I listen through my ears, Calming and no fear. Food on the table to enjoy, With people who bring me joy. Running water to satisfy our thirst, Moms and dads that think of us first. Nice clothes to wear and feel confident, Parents who are caring and provident. A roof over my head, To keep me warm and no snow or rain is on my head. I wake up at dawn so beautiful and bright, Forever grateful for another day so right. Love has no barriers, More the merrier. Hugs and kisses not just for valentines day, Hugs and kisses are for everyday. Having running water to shower every night, To get hours of a good sleep every night. Just a home with so much care and thought, No doubt will ever be thought. Older siblings that help and take care of you, So caring and kind to you. Capturing childhood memories to see once your older, Then looking at them in a folder.
