When I Am Skateboarding

The meaning of home to me is not in a building or in a place. The meaning of home to me is when I am skateboarding . It feels so free, like nothing can bring my morale down. It feels so satisfying when you finally land a trick that you have been working on for so long. Just skating and feeling the vibrations in your feet. When you skate there is no right or wrong you can just go with the flow kind of like water. Sometimes you will fall but you just have to pursue and never give up. It is no different than learning something new. You will fail, you will feel like giving up but you just have to keep going. You always have to be saying to yourself just keep going. If you can do that you can do anything. When I first started skating it was so hard but I kept going and today I am a great skater because of my mindset and attitude. I got to the place that I am today because of my dedication, sure I got hurt a lot but I learned from my mistakes and improved. If you want to skate it will be hard but I will tell you something, you will fall 80% and land tricks 20% of the time. If your dreams are to be a Olympian or a doctor do it and never let go of your dream. I love skating, I love the lessons that it teaches you. Home does not have to be a place, it can be a feeling or whatever you want it to be. Just remember you got this and you can do whatever you want. Home for me is when I am skating and having fun. :)
