Meaning of Home

When you think about home do you think it’s just nails and wood? Or that it is protection, a safe spot for you, and comfort. A place for people to gather together, a place to feel warm when it is cold, where memories are made and new ones in the future. A home is a place of laughter and jokes. A home is a shelter when there is a storm. A home is a place where you have time to yourself. You could live there forever or stay there for a year, but home doesn't mean where you are, it could also feel like home because of who you are with. A home can be filled with the joy of a family or for a new member. A home can be filled with traditions and new ones that can be made, A place where you can be yourself. A quiet place where you can go if you are crowded. A home can be a place to cool down and relax. A home can be filled with board games and fun. And this is what home means to me.
