A Home by Anne Margaret Mae Arenburg Friday January 10th 2025 A home most people think that it is just a building with rooms, a roof, a backyard and a driveway but a home is so much more. A home is a place where you can have security, love, relaxation and unity. Everyone deserves a home and yet some people don't have one. They don't have a hanger to hang their hat, they don't have someone to send a letter home to that in life will give them love, magic, adventure and excitement. For me a house is a hallway with doors that open and close with endless possibilities and opportunities. A bedroom is someone's private space to relax and be one with themselves. A kitchen is for late night conversations and romantic suppers. A living room is for celebrations and gatherings that make people gay and swell for nights on end. A backyard is for all those years going by and seeing people grow up. For me a home is something special and magical. It’s a place everyone needs to grow, love and have adventures with loved ones all the way to happy meetings with friends from far away. Everyone needs a place to hide from the dark, get away from the dark streets and be provided with something worth risking for. Everyone should have a home, opportunities, love and adventures in their life but not everyone has those very sweet memories to make. Not because they don't want to, but because they can’t, because they don't have the same resources, chances, opportunities and things in life although we should. Everyone needs food. Everyone needs love. And therefore everyone deserves a home. That's why everyone should have a home and why everyone needs a home. THE END!
