Home

A home is not house. A home is a quiet welcoming place where your family is. At home I see my mom cooking food and my dad watching a movie. At home I taste homemade pizza fresh out of the oven. At home I enjoy my brother’s birthday cake and the taste of fresh butter chicken. At home I hear my dog barking in joy that his family is back for the day. At home I hear my TV playing my favourite show. At home I see my sister playing with my brother and I hear my mom playing her music. At home I smell my dog’s fluffy fur. At home I see all of my sister’s makeup and I smell bacon sizzling in the pan. At home I feel my dog’s paw on my lap when I pet him. At home I feel my bouncy bed when I lay down - it is so comfortable. At home I feel my favourite blanket and it’s so fluffy. Home…it’s a safe cozy place where you’re loved and comfortable.
