Home
Have you ever thought what home means to you?
To me, home is my family. They give me shelter. They give me birthdays; they give me a room and food to eat.
In my home my family is nice to me, and they always make me smile.
In my home, my family always believes in me.
In my home I feel at peace in my room because I can relax there. My room is very comfortable.
In my home I hear my dad exercising and his footsteps in the hallway.
In my home the stove is on and filling the house with the smell of sizzling bacon. I taste delicious bacon and a bagel with cream cheese [this food makes me so happy]
In my home I smell supper being made. The smell of supper makes me feel loved. I see my mom making breakfast for me and my brother in the morning. When she makes food for us, we feel safe and cared for.
In my home I feel happy, joyful, comfortable and safe.
Thank you to Habitat for Humanity for building houses so people can make them into homes.
