What is Home

Home is a comfortable, safe place where you should not be afraid to be you. In your home, you make so many important and funny memories with your family, friends, pets, and all the important people you love. My home brings joy and happiness to me and my family. It is cozy and a place where you can relax, use your imagination, and be creative. Home is where you can celebrate events, have disagreements, and talk about your day. If I imagined my home as my five senses, it would smell like a delicious pizza fresh out of the oven, and it would taste like a very warm drink after you play outside on a cold and frigid winter day. In my home, I would hear the beautiful,caring voices of my family and the cute, high pitched bark of my adorable little puppy. I would feel joy, love, and warmth. Last of all, I would see all the faces of those who love me most. When you think of a house, you will probably think of a constructed structure with rooms, walls, furniture, bricks, a roof, flooring, and wood. When you think of home, you think of a cozy, protected area, where you, your family, and your pets live. As people say, “home is where the heart is.”
