The difference between a house and a home!

House can be any place that offers shelter. A house is a building made of walls, a roof, and a foundation that is called a shelter. In Toronto there are many houses, many buildings, apartments, and condos. They are all called houses. Every year many houses being built in the cities to be offered to people that are looking for a shelter or most importantly a place to call Home. There is a big difference between the word house and the word home. A home is a place where most people come to relax, enjoy, and spend time with the people they love and make great memories. Many of us enjoy going home every day. For us home is a place that we are attached to and feel great. A home is a place where we all make great memories like, watching movies and playing games with our friends, celebrating each other’s birthday, and inviting our family members like grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins to come by and have great times. A home is a place that many of us lived from the day that we were born. We have pictures, videos from our childhood playing with our friends and relatives. A home is a place where our moms cook delicious foods, cakes and other things for us. A home is a place that no matter how happy or how sad we are, we always come to relax. We always come to meet our parents to spend time and get love from them. No matter how good or bad our life is or how good or bad our days are, we always look forward to coming home; home is a place that gives us protection. In cold days it will keep us warm and in the hot days it will keep us cool. A home is a place that we celebrate the most important events, such as, birthdays, anniversaries, Christmas, news years and special holidays. We all love our homes, because of how connected we are to them.
