A house is not home

A house is not home. Home isn’t just where you live, home is where you are surrounded by people who understand and care for you. A house is full of furniture, but a home is full of laughter. Home is where joyful memories blossom and sorrowful memories drift away. Home is where you are calm and there is peace. Home is a sanctuary where you feel safe and secure. Home is where you are loved, cherished, and protected. Many people have different opinions about what home means to them, but I think home is where you are with your loved ones and you feel like you truly belong. Even if you don’t have a cozy place to sleep or a pleasant-tasting meal to eat, just remember that you will always be at home no matter where you are.
