Home is a Feeling

Home is a feeling not a roof with four walls, It’s where I can go inside and walk through the halls, Home is a place you can call your own, It is where all the positivity and happiness is known, Home is where you can relax in the warmth of the kitchen light, Smelling the scents of coffee at night, The living room, where memories and laughter are told, Even if the room is new or old, We would make my favourite little baked treats, Then after we will eat our yummy sweets, Home is a place where love is strong, It is where you can feel that you truly belong, Home is a place with family and friends, Where good times are had, and sadness mends, Home is a place where we all have fun, Where we spend time with our dear loved ones, To me home feels like one tight hug, When we are laying in bed all snug as a bug, Home is a place that you feel best, Even if you are just a guest, Listening to the sounds of my siblings above, Feeling nothing but so much love, Habitat For Humanity is a great place to stay, You have a bright future tomorrow’s a new day!
