The Meaning of Home

The meaning of home is different for different people, but I think the meaning of home is just not living in a house and I will tell you three reasons why. The first reason why home is not just living in a house is culture. The reason why I said culture is because you can practice the culture you belong to. But for me, I practice the Filipino culture because my mom and dad are Filipino. The second reason why home is not living in a house is friends and family. The reason why I said friends and family is because when you spend time with friends and family, it feels like you’re at home. The third reason why home is not living in a house is sibling rivalry. The reason why I said sibling rivalry is because my brother and I are rivals, and sometimes I flex on my brother, and he sometimes flexes back. Also, when my brother and I play games, I am good at different games and my brother is good at others. My brother makes me feel like I am at home. In conclusion, a home is where you feel happy, safe and loved. As the saying goes, “A home is where the heart is.”
