Home is a place where you can relax and take the stress off your shoulders. A home is built with love. Whenever I walk into my home, I instantly feel safe and loved. My home is not a house, why? Because my home isn’t just four walls, it's not just a building, it's not just a place with furniture. Home is everything. Home smells like birthday cake on your first birthday. Home sounds like my mom cooking, and my dad and brother playing outside on the rink. Home feels like warm cozy hugs. Home looks like my mom doing puzzles, and my dad and brother playing mini sticks in the basement. Home is like hot cocoa on a cold winter’s night. Home is like cool air on a hot summer’s day. Home is like a big hug when I’m down. If my home was a feeling it would be love, safety, and kindness. Home is belonging.
