What is Home?

You know that a house is four walls and a roof, but do you know what a home is? Home is your dog excitedly barking and trying to jump on you when you get home from school. Home is the freshly made cookies your mom makes for you when you feel down. Home is the memories you make with friends and family. Home is the comforting book you read before you go to sleep. Home is the comfy bed that you sleep on every night. Home is the mouthwatering pancakes you eat on Saturday mornings. Home is the cake you inhale on your birthday. Home is the warm air surrounding you when you get home from school on a cold winter day. Home is the laughter of your brother echoing down the halls. Home is your dog coming to lay with you when you’re going to sleep. Home is more than four walls. Home is the best feeling.
