My Home

My home is a place where my brothers and mom live with me. When I come home I see my long hallway, my metal bench, and 2 plants. I smell my mom's cooking, I see a big painting on the wall. When I wake up I see my bed, my desk, and my closet. I have a poster on my door. I see my little brother’s bed and my bathroom that’s connected to my brother’s room. In my bathroom, I see my shower, my toothbrush, my brother’s toothbrush, sinks, and toothpaste. When I go down I see my computer, my big couch, and my TV. I see my kitchen, my wall holding the roof upstairs. I like to watch YouTube on my computer and have nothing to do. My home is more than walls and a roof. It’s the memories that we made in the home. Like how we always talk about our day at the dinner table, or something cool at school or somewhere else. In my kitchen where my mom cooks delicious meals to fill the room with joy and laughter. On the couch is where my family relaxes and watches, it's a peaceful time on the couch. The quiet time because people are relaxing. These are the peaceful afternoons spent with my family. When I'm at my home it is a warm place to stay. For me, home is not just for sleeping. It's a place of hope and love, it's where I feel happy and safe.
