A house is a place where a roof covers your head A house is a place with a kitchen table and a bed A home is a place where laughter floats in the air A home is a place where love can be shared A house is a place where a front door waves open closed A house is a place where a T.V. can keep children composed A home is a place where comfort is near A home is a place where joy is all I hear A house is a place where nice furniture sits on the ground A house is a place where memories can't be found A home is a place where the walls could be bare A home is a place where no matter what gratitude lingers in the air A house is a place where glass windows let you see outside A house is a place where lamps to be lit sit on a bedside A home is a place where a stuffies turn into friends A home is a place where love has no dead ends A house is a place where shoes sit nicely at the door A house is a place where there's tiles on the floor A home is a place where friends are family A home is a place where love is spread unconditionally A house is a place where stairs walk up the floor A house is a place where people could get ignored A home is a place where memories can be made A home is a place where mothers will be ready with aid A house is different than a home A home isn’t just a place to me It is love and safety from my family
