Home to Me

A house is just a building with a roof, a door, and four corners. But a home is where I can be myself. When I was 8 years old I moved to Ontario from the Philippines. I was excited to move to a new Country, Canada. At first, I was sad to leave my family and my home, but once I realized that a home is more than a house, that home is a feeling, I was happy. When I think of the word home, I think of my parents and my older brother. I think of playing a board game with my brother, I think of making food with my mother, I think of watching a movie with my dad. Now I live in Nova Scotia and it has become my home.
