My Home

Home is where my family is, not where a house is. Home is where I feel appreciated and cared for. I feel the love dancing around the home. And laughter echoes in the rooms. Home is where I eat good food because my mother takes time to prepare it. It is where I can sleep peacefully knowing that I have my own bed, blankets and pillow. My home is my favourite place to be because I can play and be safe. It has a fence, and walls to protect me, but home is where I have people looking out for me. There is a park across the street where I can go and be a kid. There is a swing and a store next to it. The wind pushes the swing for me and helps me go fast on the slide.
