What Home Means To Me

I love my home and home is a place to be loved. It is a place where I am protected and I have everything I need. I have my parents, I have my pets and all my things and all my friends visit. This is what home means to me. Home smells like freshly baked cakes on the weekend. Home smells like sausages and mashed potato after a long day. Home looks like snow falling on the barrier of trees surrounding my house. Home looks like wildlife and a flowing river just outside our door. Home tastes like the home cooked meals or a surprise treat after school. Home tastes like oatmeal porridge on a cold morning before school. Home feels like a comfortable, safe and loving place to be. Home feels like a place to belong with family and pets. Home sounds like music often playing in the kitchen. Home sounds like the tune of my piano as I play. There is no better place than home. Going away is always fun but the best part is coming back.
