What Home Means To Me

To me home is a place with my family not a physical but a place in my heart and the people around you. Things I enjoy doing with my family are family game nights. Games we play are Outsmarted, Golf, Chameleon, and Speed. We also LOVE family movie nights. We watch comedies, action, Marvel and new series like Percy Jackson. Me and my dad love it. When we watch a movie we love to have crunchy buttery popcorn with it. I adore my dog Izzy. She is a beautiful charcoal lab. She is adorable and super gentle. Izzy is family. Home to me is the coming home to the smell of fresh baked homemade gingersnap cookies. Home is with any of my family that makes me feel safe like Fort St. John, Cash Creek, Lone Butte and of course Kamloops these places are where all my family is. We enjoy playing road hockey in the culdesac with friends or volleyball in the backyard with my family. Home is not just a bunch of bricks, it's a place that makes me feel loved, safe and cared for.To me home is a place where people can make time to be together. Home is different to different people, home is never perfect, but mine is the best it could ever be.
