If Home Were 5 Senses

A home is a place where you can feel calm and safe with your family. To me my home is a place where I use all my senses. If home was a sound, it would be the sound of football on my TV that I hear EVERY SINGLE DAY! It would sound like my brother playing ukulele or guitar or my dad snoring. If home was a taste, it would taste like my mom’s fresh chocolate chip cookies used with delicious farm fresh eggs from my neighbor. It would taste like my mom’s delicious crepes, waffles, and pancakes. If home were a sight, it would look like my giant field that you can walk in forever. It would look like my old house or front yard where we play badminton. If home were a feeling, it would feel like the calm wind blowing on my face and the cozy feeling when you go back into the house. It would feel like my cat Petey or my other cat Wonder on my bed with me. And finally if home were a smell, it would smell like my nice dinner or dessert that my mom is trying new recipes for. It would smell like fresh cinnamon buns in the oven, ready to be eaten. Home is a place that makes me feel safe. It is a warm, familiar place where I am surrounded by people that love me.
