MY HOME 🏠

Home is a place where you feel safe, you feel comforted, you feel alive. The aura of your home gives you a warm embrace. When you go home with a heart full of emotions and stress, your home is there and your home cares. You may sit in your office and stress about school or work, but in the end…isn’t that what leads you to success? At the end of the year full of laughter and cheer, which was also a year full of blood, sweat, and tears. Everyone’s favorite sleigh riding guy comes to visit and give everyone their well deserved prize. Twenty four whole days of waiting and waiting, my favorite day of the year comes to circle around. A couple hours after Saint Nick has paid me a visit, I wake to the sounds of the faint pitter-patter of my younger brother who is springing up out of bed to wake my mother. Mom’s house Dad’s house, nothing ever really changes. As I peek down under the tree, the presents fill my mind with glee. While me and my brother are waiting for Mom or Dad, we peek into the tops of our stockings. “Hey!” Dad shouts as me and my brother cackle. As we finish opening presents, thrilled with our presents “Mom’s here!” Dad yells. As we go down from admiring our gifts “Time to go home.” Moms says. As we go home to open presents there, the feelings come rushing back as we open the door to a tree stocked with presents. As we finish the present opening routine, we go to freshen up for our annual family dinner. When we open the door, everyone greets us with their affectionate smile, I think to myself “I am home.”
