My Home is More than a House

A house has four walls and a roof, but a home can feel warm and cozy on the coldest days. No matter what happens in your house it can still feel like a home. it doesn't matter what's in a house it's the people who make it feel like home. You can love everyone in a home even when it’s hard, but when someone is in your house you don't always love them. A home has laughter and joy when a house can just feel stiff. Home is a place where you can be yourself. In a house, you can feel like you're upside-down, but when your home can put you upright. A house can be empty and nothing there but a home can be filled with memories in the air. A house has no people but a home has people you care about and who care about you. My home has a brother who will be there for every up and down I go through, I feel at home even when I’m not at my house I feel at home when I’m riding horses and watching hockey with my friends and family. A house is a structure but a home is made of memories. Thank you Habitat for Humanity for building all of these homes for people who don't have one.
