Don't Judge
For some people, home might not have a roof over their head or food to get out of a fridge. Home might be on the side of a street. Don't assume that these people are bad. Stop and think. Something may have happened to their job and home too.
They could be sitting there on the street, watching nature and listening to the wind, happy or sad, just like any other human being. The difference is they are experiencing homelessness. Never judge them for that, because you are not the one struggling with that experience, they are.
Put yourself in their shoes and see how you would feel if people judged you and your different sleeping spot each night. Think about it, you would also have to buy clothes to survive in the cold. Could you handle the freeze?
They might be going through a hard time but we all should believe in them; tomorrow is always a new beginning. Even if it takes months and months, we should always have hope or say to ourselves, “we got this even though things are not going so well right now”.
And that feeling to complete that goal is so nice because all of the hard work, space and grace has paid off.
The End
