The Path to Home
Home isn’t just a place, It’s a feeling, And you might get that feeling every time you're around family but family is just one example of when you might get that feeling. Some feel at home when they're with a friend, pet or even a place. To me the beach feels like home with the salty wind in my hair and the sand between my toes. Family comes from the heart not from bloodlines. Family is who you're willing to walk through fire for. I’d be willing to do anything for my best friend, Bailee. I consider her a sister. Like Abby Jimenez once said ‘Sometimes family isn’t what you're born into. Sometimes family is found’. Although I do love my family I also love my friends, my pets and my happy places. But the most important thing is that you care about them and they care about you. Family isn’t just what you're part of, it could be anything that makes you feel at home. This may be a little corny but let's be real you’d do anything for the people you love, from pets to people. Most people take family for granted. Be grateful for the people who love you because some people have no one. We celebrate people because we care. If you see someone with no one being their someone, Be the change you want to see.
To sum this all up, family isn’t what you're born into; it's who you love and who loves you! And remember you are loved by someone, you may not have found them yet but they're out there looking for you and some day you'll find them.
