Feeling of Home

Many people think home is limited to four walls and a roof but home truly is a place where you are loved and needed. This is what home means to me. Home to me smells like the warm breakfast waiting for me as soon as I wake up. Home to me feels like my mom hugging me goodbye as I leave for school. Home to me looks like my mom’s flashing smile as I enter the room after school. Home to me smells like spicy or sweet food my mom affectionately cooked for me.Home to me smells like the sweetness lingering in the air as my mom bakes a sweet and delicious dessert for me. Home to me sounds like the TV playing as we watch for hours to come. Home to me tastes like the delicious dinner we cooked together. Home to me feels like the soft mattress and warm blanket as I lay on the bed. Home is where love shines and hatred dies, Home is where I can be myself and only I can.
